infrastructure
Infrastructure - system structures, equipment and services that enable the production and circulation for consumption and exchange of services required for the functioning of an organization. Infrastructure is the set of activities and structures of the economy of a country that are the basis for the development of other activities. The infrastructure is critical to the economic development of a country. Without it, companies fail to properly develop their business. When a country has a poorly developed infrastructure, products may become more expensive in the domestic market (hurting consumers) and also in foreign markets (exports difficult, due to international competition).
