As it's defined by Article 17 of Law of Ukraine on Judicial System and Status of Judge, system of courts of general jurisdiction of Ukraine includes (a) local courts; (b) appellate courts, (c) high specialized courts; and (d) the Supreme Court of Ukraine. System of courts of general jurisdiction is grounded on the principles of territoriality, specialization, and division of courts into instances.
