This is a name that is used six times in the bible, three of which refer to Jesus. "Lord of lords" is seen in the bible five times referring to God. 1 Timothy 6 proclaims this "...the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immorality, who dwells in approachable light, whom no one has ever seen and can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion." This name indicates the God is sovereign, and all powerful and has dominion over all.

Revelation 19:6 also makes this implication denoting that upon the return of Jesus Christ, He alone will be King and Lord over all creation and creatures, and no power or king or lord and or will have power over Him.
