An influential singer, songwriter, and artist dating all the way back to the 1960's. During this time he made songs such as "Blowing in the Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changing, which became anthems for IS civil rights and anti-war movements. His main genre was folk music but he left and entered the genre of electric sounds. In his music he incorporates socialism, philosophy, and politics. In 20012 he was awarded the Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama.
