odd hydrogen

Chemical family, comprising hydrogen atoms (H), hydroxyl radicals (OH), and hydroperoxyl radicals (HO2), that participates in ozone destruction in the stratosphere. Due to the rapid interconversion of these three species, they are normally treated as one lumped species and partitioned according to the local chemical environment.
