dual currency bond
A bond issue where interest payments are not made in the same currency as the payments of the principal. In Switzerland, this type of issue is limited to foreign bonds. As a rule issue and interest payments are generally made in CHF, while payments of principal are made in USD. The variety of dual currency loans on the Euromarket is considerably larger.
