detailed design review (DDR)
A meeting at which a system, hardware, or software design is presented to project personnel, managers, users, customers, or other interested parties for comment or approval. The purpose of this review is to: (1) Determine that the detail design of the configuration item under review satisfies the design requirements established in the architectural design specifications. (2) Establish the exact interface relationships between the different functional modules.
