barbecue bob
Singer of the revolutionary song "We sure got hard times". This song was sung in in the 1930's referencing the great depression. Barbecue Bob was actually a cook in a barbecue restaurant. He often played a 12 string guitar, creating a new sound using a bottleneck. His flailing style of playing blues music using the guitar influenced music greats like Buddy Moss and Eric Clapton. He not only recorded blues music, he also recorded spirituals such as the famous "When the Saints Go Marching In", and "Jesus' Blood Can Make Me Whole".
