affiliate
Any person who directly or indirectly controls or is a member of a control group that directs the management and activities of the company is called a "control person" or an "affiliate". Examples of these policy-making executives include the President, CEO, CFO, General Counsel and/or any member on the Board of Directors. A Company's corporate counsel will be able to determine if someone is considered a "Control Person."
