The former movie palace opened in 1929, but was closed in 1978, then restored in 1982 and reopended as stage theatre. The highlights of the Fox Theatre are its organs. The stage has an origial Wurlitzer pipe organ from 1929, it has four manuals, 36 ranks and 348 stops. There is a smaller Wurlitzer organ installed in the lobby for pre-show entertainment during renovation that has two manuals and 11 ranks.
