Formed in Liverpool in 1960, The Beatles were an English rock band that became arguably the most successful act of the 20th century. The Beatles' record label, Apple Corps, sued Apple Computer for trademark infringement in 1979, with last of these suits settled only in 2007. In 2010, The Beatles music finally appeared on Apple Computer's iTunes store.
