Saint Sava/Sava (Свети Сава; 1174 – 14 January 1236), born Rastko Nemanja, was Serbian prince that renounced his claim to the land and became a monk on Mt. Athos; later on he was consecrated a bishop and was recognized as the first Archbishop of Serbs. He restored the monastery of Hilandar and was known for his charity and miracles. Ottomans burned his relics in 16th century. Belgrade cathedral, St. Sava Temple, is the largest Orthodox church in the world.
