Republic of Abkhazia
It is a disputed territory on the eastern coast of the Black Sea and the south-western flank of the Causcasus. Its independence is recognized by 5 regional nations, but not by Georgia, as majority of nations consider Abkhazia as being part of Georgian territory. Even though in 1999 Abkhazia broke way from Georgia and declaired independence, in 2008, the Parliament of Georgia passed a resolution declaring Abkhazia a Russian-occupied territory.
