Peter Julian Eymard
Saint Peter Julian Eymard (ɛy'mɒ), (La Mure, Grenoble, France, 4 February 1811 – La Mure, 1 August 1868) was a French Catholic priest, founder of two religious institutes, and a canonized saint. On 13 May 1856, the Paris bishops consented to Eymard's plans for a 'Society of the Blessed Sacrament'. The Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament began working with children in Paris to prepare them to receive their First Communion.
