Absolute World is a residential condominium twin tower skyscraper complex located in the five tower Absolute City Center development in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Designed by 6 MAD and Burka Architects, the two main buildings twist 209 degrees (eight degrees per floor) rising 575 feet (175 meters) from their base to the top 56th floor. Both Absolute World towers have continuous balconies surrounding the entire building, offering maximum light into the apartments. Each of the apartments in The Absolute World Towers has been designed to be unique.
The buildings' curvaceous form earned them the nickname of 'Marilyn Monroe of architectural world' because their hourglass figure bears a similar shape to that of the legendary Hollywood film star. The sister towers also won Skyscraper of the Year prize in September, 2013, judged by an international panel of architectural experts sponsored by Emporis of Hamburg.
The buildings' construction began in June 2007 and the project was completed in 2012. The Absolute World Towers were built by Fernbrook Homes and Cityzen Development Group.
