Used to describe a trick done while in the air. The 360 is when a person does a full spin around (a full 360 degree spin). There are larger spins that are described by the amount of degrees you spin. Such as a 540 is one and a half spins where the skier will take off forwards but lands backwards. A famous spin that opened the freestyle skiing sport up to new levels of spin tricks was the 1080, which is three full rotations.
