unfollow
On Twitter, to unfollow someone is to stop following the user so that person's tweets and updates no longer shows up on your own page. A user may decide at any point that another user he is following is irrelevant, boring, offensive, or not reciprocating by following back, and decide to stop following that person (or brand.) Unfollowing is a common practice on Twitter and is done by navigating to the page and using the cursor to hover over the "Following" button. Once the cursor is in place a red "Unfollow" button will appear. Once the "Unfollow" button is clicked, that page's status updates is removed from the user's timeline.
