Na2 B4O7_10H2O A water-soluble, odorless, white powder; melts between 75 and 200_C; used in glass, ceramics, starch and adhesives, detergents, agricultural chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and photography; the impure form is known as borax. Also known as sodium pyroborate; sodium tetraborate.
