Spider-man's dark, violent and murderous counterpart. The villain became to be when a reporter, Eddie Brock, found a discarded black spider-man-like costume that had dark powers.

Venom's character has an alien-like mouth with huge fangs and tongue, and has all of spider-mans powers. Venom is also able to detect Spider-mans true identity as Peter Parker, making attacks very devious and unexpected.
