John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States, is assassinated while traveling through Dallas, Texas, in an open-top convertible on November 22, 1963.
In this event, the First lady, Jacqueline Kennedy, was next to him when he received three shots. Rarely, Jacqueline Kennedy, accompanied her husband on political outings.
They were sitting in a Lincoln convertible.
Kennedy was pronounced dead 30 minutes later at Dallas' Parkland Hospital.
He was 46.
