Romanadvoratrelundar, nicknamed Romana by the Doctor, is a Time Lady from the planet Gallifrey and a companion of the Fourth Doctor. She is originally tasked to help the Doctor find the Key to Time, but stays with him afterwards as a travelling companion. During her time with the Doctor, Romana regenerates once, adopting the likeness of the Princess Astra of Astrios. Some time after the Doctor and Romana enter the pocket universe E-Space, Romana decides to stay in that universe and help an enslaved race release themselves from captivity instead of leaving with the Doctor to return to their home universe, the N-Space. Romana eventually manages to return to the N-Space and Gallifrey, rising to the office of Lady President of the High Council of Gallifrey.
