The Paternoster Gang is a group of detectives in Victorian London, comprising of the Silurian Madame Vastra, her human wife Jenny Flint, and Sontaran Strax. The group borrowed its name from the street where their headquarters are located, in Paternoster Row. The Gang is a reliable ally of the Doctor, lending help on many occasions and to different incarnations. They aid the Eleventh Doctor during the Battle of Demons Run, the threat of the Great Intelligence, and later, Trenzalore. The newly regenerated Twelfth Doctor also has their help fighting off a threat he encounters right after he regenerates, as he still is not totally recovered from the regeneration process.
