Developmental State

Certain states, such as Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea, have adopted a certain variety of capitalism the developmental state. Autonomous state structure led by elite policymakers that enact and enforce industrial policies as well as sufficiently link to key corporate actors for formally and informally building networks. The developmental state model faces challenges to conduct change of financial regulatory standards and corporation of re-ordering to entrepreneurs, but also overlooked the interests and welfare of labor and civil society.
