Davros is from the planet Skaro and the creator of the Daleks. As the head of the Kaled Scientific Elite, Davros creates the Daleks in an attempt to end the thousand-year war raging on Skaro between the Kaled and Thal people. His actions do not have the expected result, and the Daleks exterminate both the Thal and Kaled races, with Davros being the only exception to the massacre. Even serving as the Emperor of the Daleks, his leadership is not undisputed, seeing that Davros is still maligned by a portion of the Daleks for not being completely pure Dalek, sometimes being imprisoned for being either a threat or for his genius.
