A companion of the Fourth and Fifth Doctors, Adric is a young man from the planet Alzarius, in the parallel universe of E-Space in the 32nd century and is considered an Elite for his excellence in mathematics. Adric stows away in the TARDIS when the Doctor and Romana leave his home planet, and starts travelling with the two Time Lords after being discovered by them. Adric meets his end when attempting to stop the Cybermen’s plan to destroy life on Earth by hitting it with a craft. When Adric tries to deactivate the Cyberman computer that is controlling the freight heading to Earth, he sends it 65 millions years back in time instead. The freight still crashes into the Earth, killing Adric and causing the extinction of the dinosaurs.
